Recently, I worked with a client in my VIP Programme who was on a journey to heal ovarian cancer. Each week, we delved into the triggers showing up in her life – those subtle yet powerful pathways to deeper healing. Unhealed trauma often manifests in our daily experiences, sometimes in ways we don’t immediately recognise.
Using my intuitive guidance, I supported her in uncovering these triggers, allowing her to address and release them, creating space for profound healing to unfold.
When we connected last week, my client shared that she had been feeling great since our last session and wasn’t sure what to focus on next.
This is a common experience – there is always something to heal, but sometimes a client needs my intuitive insight to uncover it.
She asked me, “When this happens can you “see” what needs healing next?” I assured her “Yes, I can ask for guidance to reveal what needs to be uncovered today”.
In that moment, I immediately received a vision of an 8-year-old boy, dressed in a jacket and cap, running through the night looking frightened and completely alone. Instantly, I knew this was a past life presenting itself to be healed.
As I allowed more details to emerge, I was “told” that, in fact, this wasn’t a little boy at all, but a little girl disguised as one. The layers of the vision began to reveal deeper truths, guiding me toward the healing that needed to take place.
I then saw soldiers arriving to take all the girls from households. It was a dangerous time for this little girl to embrace her femininity, so she had to disguise herself as a boy in order to stay safe. This deep fear and suppression of her true self had carried over into her present life.
She then shared with me that, around the age of 8, she began experiencing vivid nightmares and night terrors, though she had no idea where they were coming from. As we connected the dots, it became clear that these disturbing dreams were tied to the trauma of that past life – memories of fear, hiding and the struggle to suppress her true identity. She confided in me that she never really embraced her femininity. She didn’t wear much makep, rarely had her nails painted and prefered more masculine-style clothes, often steering clear of pretty dresses. This, I realised, was connected to the deep-rooted trauma from her pastlife, where embracing her feminine side had been a danger, and she had carried this sense of disconnect into her present life.
This trauma was also manifesting in how my client reacted to her 10 year old daughter’s joy in experimenting with makeup and embracing her femininity. My client felt a deep fear that this would attract the wrong kind of attention to her daughter. In contrast, her husband viewed it as innocent fun and self-expression. If left unhealed, this fear could have unconsciously been passed down to her daughter, leaving her with a sense that there was something wrong or unsafe about expressing her femininity, even though she genuinely loved doing so. Breaking this cycle of fear was essential, not only for my client’s healing but also to ensure her daughter could grow up feeling confident and free to embrace her authentic self.
While this might not seem like a big deal on the surface, as we delved deeper into her way of being, we uncovered that she had unconsciously shut down her feminine side. This suppression had a direct impact on her sacral chakra, the energy centre connected to the ovaries. Not embracing our feminine side can create imbalances that affect various aspects of life, such as:
1. Emotional Disconnection – Suppressing feminine qualities like intuition, empathy, and emotional expression can lead to difficulty forming deep, meaningful relationships and processing emotions in healthy ways.
2. Stress and Burnout – Overemphasizing masculine traits like constant productivity and control may lead to neglecting self-care, rest, and nurturing, resulting in chronic stress and physical exhaustion.
3. Creativity Blockages – The feminine is deeply tied to creativity and flow. Ignoring this side can stifle creative expression, problem-solving abilities, and a sense of inspiration.
4. Self Worth Issues – Denying feminine traits often stems from societal conditioning or unresolved trauma, leading to feelings of unworthiness, insecurity or shame about being soft, vulnerable and nurturing.
5. Physical Health Imbalances – Energetic imbalances can manifest in the body, particularly in areas connected to the feminine, such as reproductive health, hormonal issues, or conditions tied to the sacral chakra.
6. Disconnected Intuition – The feminine thrives on intuition and inner knowing. Ignoring it can result in poor decision-making or a lack of trust in one’s own guidance.
7. Relationship Challenges – Rejecting the feminine side may create difficulties in balanced relationships, as healthy connections often require a dance of both feminine and masculine energies
Embracing the feminine allows for greater harmony, emotional health, and a deeper sense of fulfillment.
Ideally, whether we are male or female, we want our masculine and feminine sides to be balanced so that we can experience harmony in all aspects of life.
This is my clients feedback.
“I have gained so much wisdom and inspiration in working with you. Since our last session (the one above), I have been more conscious of the way I show up in the world allowing my femininity to shine. I have also fully embraced my daughter’s passion to express her feminine side through her own style with clothes and makeup. She is so creative and beautiful.
Working with you made me hyper aware of how I was giving my power away and not listening to my own intuition. Our very last session was the icing on the cake and the bow that wrapped up our sessions beautifully.
I can’t thank you enough and know that this isn’t the end. I hope to stay in touch as I continue on my journey to heal.”
